OK, I know, another one of the dog. But we're feeling very sorry for her as she's come up in hives all over her body. I spent extra time playing with her today as she seemed a bit fed up and she kept bringing me her new toy. She has got such a comedy cute / ugly face that I wanted to capture it. I'm not going to divulge how many shots I took to get to this one, which isn't perfect - eyes aren't quite sharp. But there's still a lesson there about indoor photography, low light, slow shutter speed and moving dog. Even a twitch of her wobbly jowls would end up blurred. And calling her name or whistling for her attention caused her tail to go into major wagging mode - no way could I set the right shutter speed to freeze that! Hence the very shallow depth of field of f/1.8and a high ISO (800) to give me more light and a slightly faster shutter speed (still only 1/25).

Beautiful! We have two boxer girls (Ruby and Kaiya) and I love taking photos of them. I also get green eye though when taking their photo!
