Delighting in a Dyson

Cutting it a bit fine with today's post! I took this earlier today but held off in case I saw something during our trip to Derby. But I always have a gut feel when I have the daily shot in the bag - it just feels right - and I should have gone with this straight away.

We've had a cleaner for eleven years (I was surprised when I worked that out) and me and cleaning are very unfamiliar partners. I am used to occasionally swishing the broom around and only used elbow grease in the kitchen as I'm anal about clean kitchen surfaces. So it's come as a bit of a shock and somewhat of a novelty to have to dust, vacuum and bleach on a regular basis, having reviewed the household budget and worked out how much we could save if we did it ourselves.  So far (after all of 3 weeks) I'm quite enjoying it, so rewarding seeing all that dirt in the Dyson's cylinder, but watch this space...
