I took this with my compact camera - Panasonic DMC FS12, on the macro zoom settting. It also looked great with the posterising effect I used yesterday but I held off and just tweaked levels, contrast and saturation.

Just a gate post
I've passed this gate post hundreds of times walking Daisy and thought about photographing it but never got round to it. With this 366 project on my mind 24/7 I had the motivation I needed today. The colours and textures are wonderful and prove that good pictures aren't always in the obvious places.
