Hello stranger

All the 366 shots to date have been taken with my Canon 5D and a fixed 50mm f/1.8 lens (lets in lots of light, creates great soft focus effect but doesn't zoom). But today I found nothing to inspire me until I was in Costa with the kids after school (yes, Nic, sorry - have transgressed!). I only had my phone on me so its usually very average camera had to suffice. It's normally only good for daylight shots and the flash is rubbish. Low light shots are always very noisy (grainy). But it has coped with this high contrast shot very well. I turned the flash off and then on the computer later I turned it into black & white and nudged up the contrast - all on Picasa by the way - excellent free download from Google.
