366 project

My thinking is that if I go public with this project then I have to stick to it, so here we go. Everyday in 2012 I am going to take a photograph of something pertinent to my day and post it on Flickr and Facebook. I'm doing this because I want to push myself a bit, challenge myself to be creative outside of my professional work.

I've set myself a few rules, not too many, especially in these early days.

• "Found" objects only - no set up shots.
• Close up and somewhat abstract.
• No portraits (although people could be a secondary / background element).
• No professional shots to be included.

OK, so I've done today's shot and it was an easy one. Day one, no shortage of ideas, lots of enthusiasm and time. So let's see how things are going in the middle of January, when I'm panicking about filing my tax return on time as well as all the other stuff that steals my time, energy and creativity away from me!

So here's where you come in - keep on at me and also let me know what you think of the daily photograph - if it looks half hearted, doesn't say anything let me know!
