Getting a fix of his Crackberry

I know I'm not the first to coin this phrase, but whoever did was genius. No matter where we go, no matter what the occasion out it comes. Today we had nipped out for lunch and Nic was checking those all important messages and emails before he even picked up the menu. I was about to complain (again!) when I realised that the first thing I had done was take out my camera and start looking around for today's 366 shot. Both of us are guilty as charged - totally addicted to our chosen piece of technology.

I'm trying out a few more Photoshop effects at the moment and this one has been subjected to tonal changes and additional noise or grain. I quite like the final effect but I'd love to do a shot of hands one day which show every wrinkle and fold. This will be very dependent on the right light and today we were at the mercy of John Lewis restaurant light!

Shot on my Panasonic DMC FS12.
